Barcelona rejected two bids from Bayern Munich for centre-back Ronald Araujo in the January window, according to information from Barcelona newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
The first bid was said to have been 70 million euros plus 10 million euros in bonuses, while the second bid was said to have been 80 million euros plus 10 million euros. A total of 90 million euros, corresponding to just over one billion kroner, that is.
A clear signal that Barça values Araujo very highly, as the club, as you know, has had a tough time with the economy in recent years and is in dire need of money.
