Real Madrid has been rumored on several occasions to want to weave Erling Haaland. Now they have found out about the player's buyout clause.
Rumors and hints. For a long time, Real Madrid and Erling Haaland have been connected with each other but the paths have not crossed, yet. However, the Spanish capital club continues to dream of Haaland, who is said to have the door open for a move to Spain.
According to the Madrid-based newspaper Diario AS the player is enjoying himself at Manchester City but plans to sign for Real Madrid in the summer of 2025, even if he were to extend his contract with City shortly.
The meringues should be very interested in bringing in Haaland, who according to the newspaper has a buyout clause of just over 250 million euros. However, it is unclear whether City will refer to it or whether they will agree to negotiate.
This season, the Norwegian has accounted for 30 goals and six assists in 36 games.
Haaland's current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027.
